Ravings only....

Online & chatting dengan kawan2 tadik...really...chatting just absorbs the energy out of you. Had fun and laughters chatting with them just now. Wa...org puan mun bergosip...nang sik nyingo kerek kanan eh....alas, girls will always be girls...gossiping is just synonym with girls. Hahahahaha...ok..better tuck that "secret" away in the Pandora Box. I was too busy lately that my blog was not updated accordingly. There were times when ideas came gushing in but I was nowhere near the laptop and whishhhhhhhhhhh......the ideas just disappeared away. The office was quiet too, 4 of our staff are in KL now for the MTE which started today till 21/2/09. Not much being done in the office except for the occasional filing etc...(boringggggggggggggg...)

I remembered an old friend whom I met recently. Was totally surprised by our heart to heart talk then. I didn't realised that her marriage was in trouble all this while, no wonder la ..I see more of her coming over to Kuching nowadays. Having to hear her saying, "I don't love him anymore, aku menyampah setiap kali aku nanga mukanya....." and I was like....(my mouth gaping....)she was one of the most popular girls back then with her own group of popular girls. Though she never considered herself popular cos she is such a humble little angel then and still is now except of course for the part that I mentioned just now. I asked her why now? No answer from her just the tears kept coming and I stopped asking. Let it be then, probably one fine day she would tell me.

I bumped into another old friend in facebook recently. I'm very happy that she's doing very, very well for herself despite being a single mother. And she is always drop dead gorgeous and more ravishing nowadays. I contacted her and among other things she told me that she is no longer with the bank and doing manufacturing of shoes and bags nowadays. Wow!!!..fantastic huh!!!...and evidence of that can be seen from the array of pictures in her FB...she's been to places like New York, Australia, London, France and attending to Versace's parties ...what else can I say...what a life!!!!..Am happy for her though...as far as I remebered back in our ITM days' she was one of them who is not afraid being bullied by the seniors especially the ones that were jealous of her. We shared a lot that particular semester because we were roommates. She was a very naughty girl but yet angelic at times..

Bahasa Melano Balingian

My trip to Miri not only gave me the opportunity to reunite with old friends that I missed dearly but I also took the golden opportunity to learn more about my dad's language. My dad is a Melanau from Kpg Suyong, Balingian. Their melanau dialect differs from the rest of the Melanau dialects from Mukah, Oya, Rejang, Dalat, Matu, Igan & Bintulu. Sad to say that this particular dialect is slowly disappearing. Even my aunt Regina or fondly known as Usu Ina who is married to a melanau from Bintulu is at loss with her own Balingian dialect at times. So far, I've noticed that only my dad, my first cousins Lai & Kak Senah are still speaking this beautiful dialect fluently. Usu Ina converse mostly in the Mukah dialect and I observed that she would refer to Lai if she was not sure of the language itself. My dad and his siblings back in Balingian still converse in their own dialect but once they are out of their kampung, they would converse in the Mukah dialect again. Mmmmmmmmmmm.

oooo En Haris......Izzah............Ombak Rindu

Finally, I get to watch Ombak Rindu (OR) with friends last night. So here goes my review on the movie. 1) The scenery is simply fantastic and I just can’t help admiring the beautiful sceneries. It was indeed a sight to behold. So a beach-lover like me definitely enjoys and love all the beautiful sceneries. 2) Loved Hariz’s kampong house…byk modern facilities tapi nang kacaklah rumah ya.. 3) Dari mula sampei abis filem ya, the kitten doesn’t seem to grow up....go figure that out!!!…. 4) As expected some of my favourite scene in the novel was scrapped off especially bab Hariz n Izzah, there are quite a few intimate scenes (those who’ve read the novel knows, yang belum baca, sila beli dan baca k);I guess writer/director chose not to put those in the movies for sensitivity reasons and I think AA would want to think twice before acting certain scenes especially some intimate scenes with MK. 5) The OST was simply superb and the duet song by Hafiz AF7 and Adira AF8 complemented

It's been a while since my last posting.   Year in year out, I think I have such a boring life.  Initially, when I started this blog, I wanted to be a food blogger and sharing my passion for cooking and baking.  Before the existence of FB, blogging was the thing then.  I thought of trying to be one and yes, the first few years of blogging I was actively blogging, practically about everything.
