Ramah Taman Aidilfitri 2011

Masih dalam mode bersedih dengan kematian allahyarham Muliadi, it's been a week since the tragic accident that took his life and me plus the rest of the us namely, Su, Jen, Misi, Awangku, CT and Noraini were still talking about him and all those that had happened between us. Susah gilak jak rasanya nak melepaskan nya pergi gia ajak. Yet, life goes on despite of the sadness that we felt. Alfatihah. On a lighter mood, I have yet to find the semangat to start on my cookies. Walhal, dah banyak dah resepi yang dikumpul especially those that I've never baked. I've even prepared a folder specifically for that. Alahai semangat membaking, datanglah ooooo...bak kata Saudagar Sadik Sigaragar, mintak nyawa, mintak nyawa..P)..tahun tok nang verangan2 lah nak molah 10 jenis cookies..... 1) Almond london 2) Almond Ghee 3) Biskut Nestum 4) Biskut Oat 5) Tat Nenas 6) Biskut Cornflakes 7) Biskut Dahlia aka Semperit 8) Biskut Cheese 9) Biskut Snow Almond 10) Biskut Suji Brunei.   Actually...

These were some of the pictures taken during our Ramah Tamah last week. We had loads and loads delicious spread of delicacies plus some entertainment from staff and students. This year the venue was held at Laman FSGK. That's all there is folks. Insyallah, will update again after my Bintulu trip. All pictures credit to Mighul & his 'friend'...ehhehee

These were my raya cookies for this year. Didn't manage to take any pictures of the cakes though..so many unhappy things happened before and after raya so I was somehow not in the mood to do all that. Gloomy raya for me and the whole family this year.

Dah raya pun, today is already the 5th day of Syawal and I finally get to update my blog. Macam dah bersawang dah blog aku tok. Frankly, I am still so dead tired since the last week of Ramadhan and hardly slept for the last 2 night's of Ramadhan. Alhamdulillah, semua tempahan kek & biskut beres and the last delivery on pagi Raya itself, seawal 0630 pagi. Since I was craving for Briyani dari bulan puasa lagik, I finally made it today for lunch. Nasi Briyani Adabi yang ku idamkan dari bulan puasa. Bahan2nya?...it's just a simple recipe, just follow all the instructions at the packaging. I only added some cashew nuts, some black currants, add in some coriander leaves & sliced green chillies. That's all and to accompany the rice, I just cook chicken dhall and papadum. Walllaaaaaaaa......
