I don't like to waste things especially when food is concern.  So, this is what I do with leftover bread.  As I have all my ingredients in the fridge, I just whip up this simple bread pudding from Hana  
.  I did a little tweak, tiny one though,   I added an extra egg and  milk. I don't like mushy puddings and this recipe is definitely a keeper.  I guess some would prefer creamier and rich kind of bread puddings but I prefer mine just slighty crunchy on top and soft inside.  

Drizzled with semi-sweet custard sauce
