After watching the movie trailer "Bahubaali" previously, terminat dah dengan heronya Prabhas.  I do follow some Tamil movies but never ever blinked an eye on Telegu movies. And I after watching the fantastic movie trailer (which bears some similaraties with some actiion fighting from LOTR and some beautiful moments from Avatar).  I did some digging here and there and began to watch some of his movies. And the rest is history...

My version of Pineapple Cake with some twist here and there from the original recipe which is from Inspired Taste  and yes it is moist indeed and not too oily compared to a few recipes that I tried which calls for 2 cups of corn oil/vegetable.  This recipe only uses 1 1/4 cup of corn oil.  Rave reviews from my friend and she loved it and which I had shared this recipe with her.             Made this cucur pusuk Adabi and this is how I eat my cucur, with mixture of mayo and Maggi Chilli Sauce.   That was how I spent my weekend apart from watching the Hitman with Mbok.  The rest was a quiet and peaceful weekend for me.

I don't like to waste things especially when food is concern.  So, this is what I do with leftover bread.  As I have all my ingredients in the fridge, I just whip up this simple bread pudding from  Hana   .  I did a little tweak, tiny one though,   I added an extra egg and  milk. I don't like mushy puddings and this recipe is definitely a keeper.  I guess some would prefer creamier and rich kind of bread puddings but I prefer mine just slighty crunchy on top and soft inside.   Drizzled with semi-sweet custard sauce Before

I don't have a sweet tooth but I just love to whip up something sweet and decadent when the cravings creeps.  And so I came up with this simple brownies last night and the respond was unexpected.  My colleagues loved it and some has already place some orders already. Ok...tunggu lok ooo...Me?  I only took a tiny munch of the brownies...uh uh...just too sweet for me. See, how wrinkled the brownies are?  The recipe is from  here and I doubled everything and  came up with two  9" x 9" square pans and I drizzled the top with  salted caramel sauce .  The outcome are fudgy, decadent and sweet brownies and I must admit the topping complements everything.  But I noticed that my brownies are wrinkly on the surface compared to the original pictures from the website. I guess the wrinkles appeared as I added extra sugar from the original recipe.  Oh well!  the brownies was finished in no time.    Chao for now. ...

Assalamualaikum.  Wah!  Lamaknya sik berblogging/ngerepak you name it lah!.   I have not abandon my blog...............................................yet.  A lot of things happened the last couple of months and it has been a tumultous journey for the whole family. Suffice to say, things seem to be under control now and the whole family is coping with the whole thing.  It has never been easy but we are managing.

Hot sunny day tapi dalam panas sempat mengukis Peanut Butter Cookies dari Food.com. I did a  little tweak by adding chocolate chips.  Nice and fudgy.

I am hooked this drama now. All I say is, nang best!!!

Effective next month am no longer in the faculty, am back to the main building. Mixed feelings actually, am happy cos I will be getting some challenging tasks ahead and sad at the same time as I will be leaving my comfort zone. However, the thing that I hate about moving out is the packing and the unpacking.  Nature of job is still the same though the atmosphere is very different.  I won't be attending to any students and anything relative to academic.  I am gonna miss that so much.

2015 ni selera aku dah lain gilak dah...dah suka nak melayan drama2 di TV3...skrg tgh follow drama Asam Pedas untuk Dia. Nanga asam pedas ya dah nyuruh aku tengok. Haishhh .  Sabar jaklah

Watched this movie last weekend with Mbok...what can I say..the story is straightforward and rather predictable.  Nevertheless, we enjoyed the movie and just love some of the beautiful sceneries.  Read the wikipedia and it says that the film was shot in British Columbia, Vancouver.  I thought that the movie was filmed somewhere in Europe or New Zealand.  Anyway, worth watching.
