It has been a while since I last ate one so I made this last Saturday. Aku dah jarang makan nasi lemak lately so I thought, why not do a special treat for the whole family nak?. I used to have this 3 or 4 times a week and had teh-tarik everyday for breakfast. Bad choice of a healthy diet obviously so I started to cut down on all that and alhamdulillah I would only have any of these when I go out. Ya pun..jarang juak dah keluar.....

The original trio of Charlie's Angels (L-R) Farrah Fawcett as Jill Munroe, Kate Jackson as Sabrina Duncan & Jaclyn Smith as Kelly Garrett Somehow Farah's death was overshadowed by the death of Micheal Jackson. Nevertheless, she was one of my favourite actress in the famous 70's TV series. I was about 9 - 10 years old when the series hit the Malaysian shore back then. She was once married to actor Lee Majors who was also famous as Steve Austin of Six Million Dollar Man (another famous 70's TV series). RIP Ms Farrah.

Michael Jackson - This is how I want and will always remember him. Picture credited to AP It was a shock to me when I heard about his death. I never considered myself a hardcore fan of him but I grew up with his songs during my early childhood in the late 70s and later in my teenage heydays in early 80s, we sang along to his songs especially Beat It, Thriller, Billie Jean. I remembered back then where I had to sneak out of my bedroom middle of the night just to watch his video on tv back then. My parents were very strict then and during my school days I must sleep by 9pm and were not allowed to watch the TV unless all my homework are done. Very regimented huh! I still find it hard to believe that he is gone..................too soon as matter of fact......just watching the service memorial stirred my emotion so much and I just cried and cried. I cried for him, for his children and for his losses of privacy, understanding, love and care from people surrounding him. I am moved by his son...

Back from Miri last week I was practically bogged down with loads of work that just suddenly appeared out of nowhere. Honestly, am still in the reunion mood gathering and visiting the facebook has been therapy session for me. I'm getting my daily updates of photos being uploaded by the rest of us. Oh well, am going to put that in the reunion entry later2 la. What a feeling!..Seems believing! ...wah!..berlagu what a feeling indah lok!..*****giggling******* Last Saturday I was on duty for Malam Gemilang Unimas 2008. This is where some of the cemerlang staff get their recognition for their excellent work performance in 2008. I'm not getting mine this year , I got mine last 2 years so sik kisah la ...on duty jak, happy for them and congrats to all who got the award... plus cash award of RM1,000.00. Yahoo! on behalf of them cos 3 of them are from my department and yessssssssssssssssssss...............ada org nak belanja koh...starting from tomorrow. So there will be no pack lunch fo...

Chocolate Brownies As I was still on leave last Thursday and was not feeling well at the same time, I made this brownies in a jiffy. Why?..the recipe is so simple and I only needed to buy butter, the rest of the ingredients are still available. Since that the fasting month is next month, I might as well clear all the outstanding baking stuff in the fridge. The result: Chewy, gooey, very chocolatey & very sweet. Will share the recipe later cos I sort of modified the recipe according to my bakery needs...hehehe...that's very normal of me cos I have a knack to remodify recipes when the need arise.
