The 12 finalists. My favourites?...all of them but my top 7 favourite is Isabella, Sofia, Siena, Lucy, Cassidy, Pierre and Jack Dah basik dah cerita tok tapi I still wanna blog about this. I just watched in awe at 12 year old & 10 years old kids dishing up choux pastries and ***sigh***, both Jack and Isabella (the finalist) made me ashamed of my age. I tried my hand on the basic choux pastry and it was quite a nightmare!!! But watching them preparing the pastry, aiyayayayayya….me n my sister was gaping away………….When I was 12 the only thing that I could cook was rice, boiling water and fried eggs. Plus the fact that my mum just don’t trust me in the kitchen with her, she was quite an impatient in her younger days(I guess most mums are, huh?..), I also think that she rather have the kitchen to herself than shouting and screaming her head off telling me to how to cut this and how t...

Aik?...tang ada-ada jak ada gambar telur goreng, ada cerita sebenarnya tapi tunggu lok. It's Good Friday holiday here so come the holiday, come the chores with it. Clearing the laundry, doing some mini spring-cleaning in the bedroom etc. Ok, back to this story of the fried egg..cam ney nak start owh?..cam tok jaklah, last month I chatted with adik angkatku. She's married with 4 kids and residing in Putrajaya. We shared a lot of gossips, hehehe, biasalah nak...so nya bercerita hal perangey anak lakinya...asal makan ajak nya mesti ada telur goreng. Mun telur goreng sik ada, nya mesti nyuruh bibik molah. Ya lah berkenang mun dolok masa nya kecik, telur goreng ya dikira stok makanan tengah bulan. Dolok idop pun bukan senang, I shared that too with her. Come to think of it, I couldn't agree more, I was brought up with that 'culture' of sindrom makanan tengah bulan or bila sontok2 kata urghang sarawak. Another favourite is sardine masak kicap. Seeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee....ijooooooooooooo nak?...emmmmmmmmmmmmmm..dah berkali aku nukar template aku tok, bila dah ok jak upanya, sekali dah diview macam2 jak accesories bergantung sia2, alu sakit mata ku nanga...kak ya berugak2 agik carik template yg tang nyaman jak upanya...mun diekot ati tok, macam2 jak nak k ngkah ku lam tok tapiiiiiiiiiii....aku lom pandei, like I said in my previous entries, am not a tech-savvy person. AAAAAAnyway, back to the topic, see I skipping london already...sebenarnya aku tok jenis lambat crita kata orhang saghawak, maka dah 6 tahun dah YAZNOR ya on air, aku baruklah sedar 2 tahun lepas tapi mula2 nang sik lalek juak cos standard radio sarawak bagi aku adalah k orang tua jak (nang mudaklah aku tek oooo, aihhhhhhhh...perasannya lok....kekekkee)tapi kadang2 terrrrrrpaksa nengar juak mun sik diamok oleh mak ku, sebab ada segm...

Finally, Sarawak's election is over with BN garnering 55 seats and the rest by DAP, PKR & one sole Independent candidate. So there's check and balance, plus and minus in DUN now. So to all YBs, young and old, the current ones and the newbies...deliver your promises and walk the talk please. No more crappy stuff. Oh and by the way, provocations and gangster kind of approach is a no, no. no in Sarawak ok. We are known as peace-loving people, though some of the ancestors of my fellow brothers and sisters were known as headhunters ..that was history but it's the 21st century folks, so be nice human beings ok, and don't call us names ok. You want respect, you should earn it. It may work now but people tend to get tired of the same tactic.

D day is finally tomorrow. And I for one can't wait for this weekend to be over. Sarawak is hyped with activities at all corners of the state. It's in the papers, in the media and evvvvvvvvvvvvverywhere, I tell you... Since that I am not a crowd person (I hate crowds cos everytime am in a crowd I get suffocated easily...) I plan to do so in the morning. This is the only time you see hoards of ministers and political leaders from West Malaysia in Sarawak, you practicaly bump into them at the wet markets, kopitiam (and if you're lucky you get to share the same table sipping your hot coffee and laksa sarawak with them & the whole troop etc. Whatever la kan, come election, or shall I say election mentality, election mali, YB & menteri mali jugak....mmmmmm.. Posters, flags (you see big2 ones, the small2 ones)are put up everywhere & every little corners that they can think of. It saddens me to see that some posters are more on personal attack. Wonder how ...

Happy secretaries week to my fellow secretaries. Be it Secretary, Personal Assistant, Confidential Secretary, Confidential Stenographer, Pembantu Tadbir (Kesetiausahaan) or Setiausaha Pejabat, in general we have the same job description yáll (forget the slang ya, dah lamak ada astro beyond di rumah, suka gilak nanga program masakan Paula Deen...those of you yang ada astro beyond pahamlah kan...her southern slang siap dengan sengongnya ya) This is the general picture of a secretary, in case soooooome of you might not know...hehehe, ada2 jak kan.. Back from work yesterday, my mum told me that mum's cousin fondly known as Usu Dillah @ Abang Zarazella Abang Sebli passed away while undergoing dialysis. He was 48, single and working at Ambank KL. He left a daughter (his own niece actually whom he took care after her parent's divorce years ago). Despite suffering kencing manis, sakit jantung and darah tinggi he remains lively as ever though lately I couldn't helped noticing how frail he was. His passion and spirit to enjoy his life was very obvious, nothing stopped him. You can see and hear him cracking naughty vulgar jokes with friends. Likewise, his friends and families treated him as if he was as healthy as ever. I remembered that he would buy me lunch or dinner after I helped him typing his assignments when he took his degree course a few years ago. I didn't want to accept any payments from him then so I get free lunches and dinners..hehee... Al-fatihah to my dear Usu Dillah, moga rohmu dicucuri rahmat h...

My head was throbbing eversince last Saturday and my body is tingling with nervousness. I've been in worst situation before but this?.. Apakah tandanya itu?...Mmmmmm...I pray and hope that everything is ok. Good news?..entahlah, hopefully lah....
