After a couple of weeks, finally I did watch the 6th concert but in between the concert I was missing...entahla, rasanya AF dah ilang magik...the thing is, it can't glue me to my seats anymore...sakit ati pun ada juak nanga..I watched it too because of Rosma & Khai's wedding. Of course, maybe to some sik perlu daknya nak bersanding dpn tb or masa konsert AF, but because of AF dak duak bertemu..I can still remember those days when reality tv were still new to the Malaysian public. Personally, AF1 till AF3 was the best. The peak to me was during AF3, the whole nation plus Brunei were smitten by Mawi. The rest is history of course. Oh well, let bygone be bygone. (sigh!!)

Me?...I was or rather a group of us were hooked on to this couple, Felix and Akma. That was how Jiwang United was born. I could still remember Concert 7 when she sang Bertakhta di Hati (os Faradhiya) together with Felix...ouch, brought me goose bumps then and will always bring a smile to my face. I love this couple, then. Gila nak?...hehehehhe..entahla...but something did happen then (aku rasa la..) kuch kuch hota hai...

CP, a'ah kan, mmg ada kuch kuch hota hai....p adala kan org2 itu asyik main libas2 je, cover line la kunun...kekekekkekek...manalah tau ada jodoh di antaranya..heheheheh bak kata pepatah, ikan di laut asam di darat, di dlm kuali bertemu jua...(tgh garu pala ni, relevant lgi ke?...kuikuikui)

Bahasa Melano Balingian

My trip to Miri not only gave me the opportunity to reunite with old friends that I missed dearly but I also took the golden opportunity to learn more about my dad's language. My dad is a Melanau from Kpg Suyong, Balingian. Their melanau dialect differs from the rest of the Melanau dialects from Mukah, Oya, Rejang, Dalat, Matu, Igan & Bintulu. Sad to say that this particular dialect is slowly disappearing. Even my aunt Regina or fondly known as Usu Ina who is married to a melanau from Bintulu is at loss with her own Balingian dialect at times. So far, I've noticed that only my dad, my first cousins Lai & Kak Senah are still speaking this beautiful dialect fluently. Usu Ina converse mostly in the Mukah dialect and I observed that she would refer to Lai if she was not sure of the language itself. My dad and his siblings back in Balingian still converse in their own dialect but once they are out of their kampung, they would converse in the Mukah dialect again. Mmmmmmmmmmm.

oooo En Haris......Izzah............Ombak Rindu

Finally, I get to watch Ombak Rindu (OR) with friends last night. So here goes my review on the movie. 1) The scenery is simply fantastic and I just can’t help admiring the beautiful sceneries. It was indeed a sight to behold. So a beach-lover like me definitely enjoys and love all the beautiful sceneries. 2) Loved Hariz’s kampong house…byk modern facilities tapi nang kacaklah rumah ya.. 3) Dari mula sampei abis filem ya, the kitten doesn’t seem to grow up....go figure that out!!!…. 4) As expected some of my favourite scene in the novel was scrapped off especially bab Hariz n Izzah, there are quite a few intimate scenes (those who’ve read the novel knows, yang belum baca, sila beli dan baca k);I guess writer/director chose not to put those in the movies for sensitivity reasons and I think AA would want to think twice before acting certain scenes especially some intimate scenes with MK. 5) The OST was simply superb and the duet song by Hafiz AF7 and Adira AF8 complemented

It's been a while since my last posting.   Year in year out, I think I have such a boring life.  Initially, when I started this blog, I wanted to be a food blogger and sharing my passion for cooking and baking.  Before the existence of FB, blogging was the thing then.  I thought of trying to be one and yes, the first few years of blogging I was actively blogging, practically about everything.
